When these small bubbles collapse rapidly, high temperature and high pressure are generated in the bubble, and strong local shock waves are generated in the liquid near the bubble because the liquid around the bubble rushes into the bubble at high speed, which also forms local high temperature and high pressure, resulting in ultrasonic crushing, emulsification and extraction.

The extraction methods of essential oil mainly include distillation, squeezing, ancient liposuction, organic solvent extraction (IS), supercritical carbon dioxide extraction, ultrasonic extraction, and microwave-assisted steam distillation.
